Why the cost?

Many, many hours are put into socializing and training these piglets. If you've done your research you know that a pet pig is not the easiest; they are forever toddlers! However, they can be the absolute best when reared mindfully and taught good behaviors. We pour our hearts and souls into these piglets because we know from experience how joyful it can be to have a well-behaved, beautiful mini pig friend. Your piglet will start life with you having received the best care and training from us. We also will educate and provide aid to you (future piggy parent) for the life of the pig. 

Your piglet will come :

• AMPA registered (American Mini Pig Association)
• socialized--all the human snuggles and scratches, exposure to other pets (dogs, cats, chickens)
• desensitized to house noises (vacuum, music, dog barking, etc.)
• started on harness/leash training 
• potty-trained in litterbox, and advice on how to continue behavior / transition outside
• kennel/crate trained
• use to car rides
• exposed to bath time
• with full vet check
• spayed/neutered
• micro-chipped
• de-wormed

While we cannot promise or guarantee the size of your future pig, we did pick (and invested in) our breeder pigs with genetics in mind. Our parent pigs are small for the mini pig world, and they have great personalities. You can learn more about the parents and see their sizes and ages under 'meet the parents'.
